The National Organizing Committee of the 17th edition of the Ouagadougou International Crafts Fair (SIAO) was set up this Thursday in Ouagadougou to prepare for this major meeting scheduled from October 25 to November 3, 2024 under the theme ‘African crafts, youth entrepreneurship and empowerment’

The technical advisor to the Minister in charge of Industry, Trade and Crafts, Mr. Alassane Ouédraogo, proceeded with the installation of the National Organizing Committee of SIAO 2024 this Thursday in the SIAO meeting room.

Alassane Ouédraogo, also chairman of the SIAO board of directors, congratulated all the actors chosen for their competence and hoped that everyone could put their experience at the service of SIAO and the nation.

A roadmap was presented to the participants after the reading of the composition of the CNOS by the general director of SIAO.

Some 4000 exhibitors are expected at this edition.
