Egypt’s pharmaceutical market is among the most attractive in the Middle East region, and has seen an increase in interest and investment from multinational pharmaceutical companies.

The pharmaceutical market in Egypt was valued at 3.1 billion dollars in 2018, and is estimated to grow at a compound annual growth rate of around eight percent to reach about 5.2 billion dollars by 2025, according to Pharmaconex.

For manufacturers, the expo enables them to reach out to influential and key decision-making professionals within the Middle East and North Africa.

Yasser Gendy, marketing manager with an Egyptian pharmaceutical company, said, the expo is a hub to source the latest solutions, products, and technology available in the industry.

“The exhibition provides great opportunities to build relationships with prospects and existing clients, as well as, form new business networks,” said Ahmed Hany, an engineer with Cairo-based Nama Group, which is an agent, distributor, and producer of quality products.

“The Egyptian pharmaceutical market is big, fast-developing, and profitable. This event provides a platform where investors can sign new deals,” Hany said.
