The Sud-Comoé Regional Council signed, Friday, October 14, 2022, during its fourth ordinary session, a partnership agreement with the National Rural Development Support Agency (ANADER) in the framework of agricultural entrepreneurship for young people.
This agreement, according to the Director General of ANADER, Dr. Sidiki Cissé, has two components, including the breeding of local chickens and the cultivation of cassava.
The young people involved in this project each received chickens and cassava cuttings from ANADER as installation kits.
ANADER will provide technical assistance to these young people in this project.
The president of the Sud-Comoé regional council, Dr Aka Aouélé, welcomed this agreement. He recalled that the introduction of rubber cultivation in the department of Aboisso had been the subject of an agreement with ANADER, the results of which have made it possible today to have factories for the first processing of latex in the department.
Several projects for young people have been launched by the regional council of Sud-Comoé, we note.
