Abidjan, Decathlon, an international brand of sports clothing, equipment and accessories, opened a store at the Cosmos shopping center in Yopougon, in the presence of municipal authorities of the commune.

According to company officials, this store, built on an area of 500 m², is intended to be a local offer in relation to consumers, taking into account more than 40 sports.

The chief of staff of the mayor of Yopougon, Drissa Ouattara, welcomed this investment which “arouses the pleasure of practicing sport, and creates jobs for the youth of the town”.

Decathlon Yopougon, opened on Tuesday January 18, 2022, is the fourth store in Abidjan of this company created in 1976, which has more than 1,700 points of sale in 60 countries.
