Windhoek Correctional Facility (WCF) inmate, Isak Alfeus, who escaped from Windhoek Central Hospital on Monday, has been re-arrested.
WCF Commissioner, Fillipus Nangolo, in an interview with Nampa on Friday, confirmed that the suspect was apprehended on Friday at about 09h50 in Omaruru.
“Alfeus was re-arrested by correctional officers and is currently detained at Omaruru Correctional Facility,” Nangolo said.
Nangolo further stated that the suspect was set to be transferred to the Windhoek Correctional Facility on Friday.
Alfeus escaped from the Windhoek Central Hospital, where he had gone for a sonar test on Monday.
