Addis Ababa: Ethiopia and Cuba need to implement existing bilateral agreements in areas like water management, education, air transport, and trade, Foreign Affairs State Minister Mesganu Arga said.
The state minister also encouraged further cooperation in health care and sugar production during his meeting with Cuba’s Deputy Foreign Minister Elio Eduardo Rodrigues Perdomo today.
On the occasion, Mesganu underscored the need to implement existing bilateral agreements in areas like water management, education, air transport, and trade; and encouraged further cooperation in health care and sugar production, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Cuba’s Deputy Foreign Minister Perdomo expressed gratitude for Ethiopia’s embassy reopening in Havana and reaffirmed his country’s commitment to strengthening ties.
Both sides recognized the potential for expanded cooperation and the importance of solidarity in addressing global challenges.
