Kong, Jan 23, 2021 (AIP)- Prime Minister Patrick Achi launched Act 2 of the Government’s Social Program, amounting to 3.2 trillion, on Saturday, January 22, 2022, in Tougbo, Bounkani region, in the North-eastern Ivory Coast.
With an amount of 3,200 billion FCFA over 3 years for a “Côte d’Ivoire, Solidarity”, the new social program of the government is articulated around 5 strategic axes.
This is, says the head of government, the fight against fragility in the northern border areas, the improvement of study conditions in primary, secondary and higher education, the improvement of living conditions for households , the professional integration of young people and civic service, and the social coverage of vulnerable populations.
For the integration of young people from the northern border areas, the government is launching a special program at a cost of more than 8 billion CFA.
According to the Prime Minister, this is the embodied vision of President Alassane Ouattara and his desire for an ever more united Côte d’Ivoire articulated around the five strategies.
