Côte d’Ivoire-AIP/ The NGO “A smile for you too” donates sanitary equipment to the Roa health center
On Friday, October 14, 2022, the NGO “A smile for you too” handed over sanitary materials to the Roa health center, as well as social kits to the local village populations, during a handover ceremony in this village, located in the sub-prefecture of Grand-Zatry, department of Soubré.
The public square of Roa, a village located 10 km south of Grand-Zatry, served as the setting for this delivery of sanitary equipment consisting of small health equipment, gowns intended for nursing staff, baby scales, equipment for hygiene, hospital beds to strengthen the technical platform of the rural health center (CSR) thanks to the good care of the founding president of the NGO, Miriame Bamba, Ivorian, originally from Issia, residing in France.
By handing over this material to the sub-prefect of Grand-Zatry, Zébli Lago, President Bamba underlined that she was responding to a request from the Prophet Abraham, founder of the “Church of the Living God” in Roa.
This donation of sanitary equipment was welcomed at its fair value by Dr Guy Roger Doudjon, chief physician of the urban health center (CSU) of Grand-Zatry, who noted the social nature of this endowment.
In the same vein, Ms. Bamba granted 70 social kits, each consisting of, among other things, clothes, soap, bleach, to the populations, as well as five canes to the five district chiefs of the village of Roa.
The NGO “A smile for you too” was born from a frank friendship and an outpouring of generosity from Ivorians living in Europe, and sharing a common vision in terms of education, health and social issues.
