Bouna, The new regional delegate of the National Youth Council of Côte d’Ivoire (CNJCI) of Bounkani, Cissé Soualiho was invested on Sunday January 23, 2022 at the Bouna youth center, in the presence of the mayor of the town, Bouraima Ouattara, sponsor of the event.
The investiture took place under the supervision of the regional directorate for youth promotion, professional integration and civic service and saw the participation of all the youth leaders of the Bounkani region.
The new CNJCI regional delegate intends to focus his mandate on the emancipation and empowerment of young people in the region through offers of opportunities for socio-professional integration, so as to lead them not to respond to the call of terrorism , a scourge that threatens the region. He promises to work for the emergence of a more responsible, autonomous youth who participate in local development.
Cissé Soualiho was elected on July 18, 2021 with 36 votes against 28 for his opponent Camara Ladji Seydou. This election, organized in a peaceful atmosphere, in the prefecture of Bouna, recorded 64 voters from 32 youth organizations.
Mr. Cissé is an agent in the socio-cultural service of the town hall of Bouna and is also the focal point of the youth employment project in the locality. He thus begins a three-year mandate.
The CNJCI is a consultative body whose vocation is to be the apex of youth organizations, with the mission of bringing together youth organizations, federations and NGOs to increase the creativity of young people and optimize their potential for action and development. participation in development.
