The Bureau of the section of the Association of Ivorian Midwives (ASFI) led by the President, Wognin Angeline was invested on Saturday April 01, 2023 at the town hall of Adiaké, in the presence of the authorities. administrative and health, in particular, Nogbou Claudine representative of the Minister in charge of Health.

This Office aims to ensure the promotion of the profession and the defense of the moral, social and professional interests of midwives.

This is to promote the creation of suitable conditions for the profession, to strengthen the links between the members of the association and to facilitate the emergence of a framework of communication between the midwives, the local authorities and the populations. , said the representative of the godmother, the economic, social and environmental adviser, Coulibaly Ramatou.

“I urge you to seize this melting pot to get closer to other associations in order to share your experiences,” she said, reassuring that she will spare no effort to support the association in achieving its objectives.

Sub-Prefect Bakayoko Ibrahim reassured the new Prefectural Body Support Office and urged midwives to be vigilant and attentive in the exercise of their profession in order to considerably reduce the death rate during deliveries.

ASFI was created on February 5, 1997 and Adiaké is the 76th local section to be installed.
