Niakara, April 04, 2022 (AIP)- The Catholic faithful of the parish of Saint-Joseph de Niakara, in the diocese of Katiola, proceeded to the laying of the first stone of a future religious building, Sunday April 03, 2022, in the district Château, in the presence of the diocesan authorities and the mayor.

“It is about the construction of a secondary station, a new building whose effective realization will make it possible to unclog the old church dating from the 1950s which has become cramped today”, explained the parish priest of Saint-Joseph de Niakara, Reverend Father Félix N’Gapélé, during Sunday Mass.

The parish priest of Saint-Joseph de Niakara, Abbé Félix N’gapélé, in the company of the diocesan official from Katiola, Father Félix Coulibaly, Mayor Pierre Koné, called on all the faithful to show solidarity and total commitment to complete this important project to the glory of the Almighty.
