Côte d’Ivoire-AIP/ Solemn return of JCI-Éléphant Duékoué under the sign of the sustainability of actions
Duékoué, The executive president of the Junior Chamber International-Eléphant Duékoué, Franck N’Guessan Gbeto, is committed to training quality members for the sustainability of his local member organization (OLM).
Mr. Gneto made this commitment during the solemn start of the OLM, Saturday January 07, 2023, at the Paul Guidibo village hall of the town hall, placed under the sign “Let’s boost our actions”.
“This gives us the opportunity to indicate the sign and the vision around which we wish to conduct our one-year mandate. We had, after our investiture, made a commitment to continue the work begun by our predecessors,” he said.
It has declined its program of activities which will be, throughout the year, punctuated by a dozen internal and public training sessions, a coaching seminar, a local oratory, spelling and reading competition.
Also planned is a regional day of leadership and entrepreneurship, and three workshops to train potential members and build the capacity of youth leaders, as well as the rehabilitation of a primary school and the construction of a modern headquarters for the OLM.
All this, with the backing and support of 12 young men and women who have taken the oath, which entitles them to be members of the local steering committee.
Franck N’Guessan Gneto was elected and invested as executive president of JCI-Éléphant Duékoué, for the 2023 term, on September 24, 2022. He is the 19th president of this OLM officially created in 1999.
JCI’s mission is to provide young people with opportunities for leadership development by empowering them to create positive change. Its vision is to be the leading global network of young leaders. The national president, for the 2023 term, is Ahmed Coulibaly Tiékoura.
