Vaccination against cervical cancer ends Monday, November 29, 2021 in Tiébissou instead of Sunday 28, in order to give the health district more chance to achieve its goals, learned the AIP.

Due to some technical difficulties, this operation scheduled for November 22 to 28 across the country did not start until November 23 in the locality, explained the head of the health district of Tiébissou, Dr Dékao Zalla.

The extension will therefore make it possible to have the time actually allocated to this operation, which targets young girls whose age varies between nine and 14 years.

According to Dr Dékao, in Tiébissou, 7,888 girls are targeted by this campaign.
