A total of 45 boxes of sugar offered by the President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara, were handed over on Friday March 17, 2023 to the Catholic community in the Aboisso and Maféré sectors during a ceremony performed at the prefecture of Aboisso. The secretary general 1 of the prefecture, Honoré Gueu Guié, explained that the state ched made this donation in order to support them for the period of Christian Lent. Father Wadja of Saint Jean d’Aboisso parish thanked President Ouattara on behalf of the entire Catholic community for this gesture and promised to make good use of it. Christian Lent started on February 22 and will end on April 6, 2023.
