Sakassou, Apr 04, 2022 (AIP) – The Lycée Moderne de Sakassou won, on Saturday Apr 02, 2022, the departmental finals of the Ivorian School and University Sports Office (OISSU) in junior girls handball, senior football and junior football , at the initiative of the Departmental Directorate for the Promotion of Sports and the Development of the Sports Economy of Sakassou.

During these competitions, the launch of which took place on Wednesday February 16, the Sakassou high school won in junior girls’ handball with a score of 8 goals to 6 against Groupe Scolaire Kouadio Germain (GSKG), also victorious in senior football (3- 2) against the Walley Private College, and finally, winner in junior football (2-1), during his opposition against the Mamie Aya Ngo School Group (GSMAN’GO).

The principal of the winning establishment, Berté Dramane, was delighted with the ever-increasing enthusiasm of high school students from Sakassou for OISSU competitions, which are only limited to football and handball.

However, he pleaded with the competent authorities for the diversification of school sports, which now must take into account basketball and volleyball.
