The Minister of Commerce, Industry and Promotion of SMEs, Souleymane Diarrassouba who chaired, Saturday March 18, 2023 in Yamoussoukro, the finals of the 10th edition of the schools tournament of the he Polytechnic Institute Félix Houphouët-Boigny (INP-HB), encouraged students to practice sport regularly. In particular, the minister reminded young people of the virtues of sport, which allows them to maintain good health in an environment marked by stress and intense intellectual activity. “In addition to inspiring the values of courage, endurance and self-sacrifice, sport is a powerful vector for bringing students together”, continued Mr. Souleymane Diarrassouba. He assured of his commitment to “always support the activities that contribute to the development of the students of the National Polytechnic Institute Houphouët-Boigny of Yamoussoukro”, especially in his capacity as a local elected official. Convinced of the multiple virtues of sport, the leaders of the INP-HB will launch as of the next school year, “a Master’s degree in sports management and marketing”, announced the general manager, Dr Abdoul Kader Diaby. The Institute wishes to go even further by adding two sports disciplines which are not yet present on its site. These are horseback riding and water sports. “Since we have a lake already developed and several areas that can be developed,” added the General Manager.
