Côte d’Ivoire – AIP / Lent: the autonomous district of Zanzan in solidarity with the Christians and Muslims of Bondoukou
The director of cabinet of the minister, governor of the autonomous district of Zanzan, Diabagaté Amadou showed his solidarity with the Muslim and Christian communities of Bondoukou, by offering them, Saturday April 1, 2023, 11 tons of food.
In total, eight tons of rice and two tons of sugar were given to Muslims, in the presence of the Grand Imam of Bondoukou, El Hadj Ismaël Timité, and a ton of rice was also offered to the Catholic faithful.
Receiving this donation, El Hadj Ahmed Koudouss, the representative of the Grand Imam of Bondoukou, El Hadj Ismaël Timité, welcomed an act of social significance, which participates in supporting the Muslim community at this time of fasting in the month of Ramadan.

He formulated prayers of blessings for Côte d’Ivoire, for the President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara, as well as for the donors.
For Mr. Diabagaté, it is a question of expressing the support of the autonomous district of Zanzan to both Christians and Muslims in their time of penance.
In all, the autonomous district has made donations to Christian and Muslim religious communities, the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and vulnerable people, worth 25 million FCFA.
