Sakassou, March 22 (AIP)- The President of the Superior Council of Imams (COSIM), Cheikhoul Aïma Ousmane Diakité, urged the population of the department of Sakassou on Monday, March 21, 2022 to cultivate peace, social cohesion and living together, during a meeting at the bus station with the Muslim community.

This exhortation to the peace of the population of Sakassou, in particular, the members of the Muslim community, was part of a tour of the religious guide in the regions of Gbêkê and Hambol, the objective of which is to bring COSIM’s contribution to promoting peace and strengthening social cohesion.

The president of COSIM therefore took advantage of his presence in Sakassou to meet and discuss with the administrative and traditional authorities as well as the leaders of other religious denominations in order to share with them his vision for peace, a prerequisite for any development.

It was also for him to address to them in person the congratulations of all the members of the Muslim community of Côte d’Ivoire and their guides for the work done to restore peace and strengthen social cohesion and living together in the capital of the Baoulé kingdom each time these social values have been undermined.
