The Sub-Prefect of Tiedjo, Mrs. Soro Pelayari, urged women in her constituency to be more committed to their empowerment, during the celebration of International Women’s Rights Day.
“Although seemingly weak, women are the strong link in the family and in society. However, women are victims of all forms of discrimination,” she lamented, inviting the women of Tiedjo to do more. commitment to assert their rights.

Taking into account the national theme of Women’s Day 2023 “technological and digital innovation, a lever for the social inclusion of women and young girls in Côte d’Ivoire”, the sub-prefect encouraged women to train in use of technological and digital tools to be more competitive on the labor market and facilitate their employability and empowerment.
She also urged women’s associations to invest more in the field of food and seize all the opportunities available to them for their empowerment.
