Ferkessédougou, The populations of Ferkessédougou spent the end-of-year celebrations on Saturday December 31, 2022 in a friendly, festive and perfectly secure atmosphere.

“We are very satisfied with the work done by our defense and security forces here in Ferkessédougou, because we go out to celebrate and come back at any time without worries,” said Silué Franck, one of the revelers we met in a nightclub in the city.

Several Police and Gendarmerie patrols criss-cross the city’s arteries, keeping watch. At the various intersections, two to three security elements are posted to ensure safety and issue tickets to users who do not respect the highway code.

On the side of the National Civil Protection Office (ONPC) of Tchologo, apart from a few clashes, the accident situation was not alarming.

The populations of Ferkessedougou have therefore passed from 2022 to the year 2023 in complete peace of mind and in complete safety.
