Bouna, Apr 04, 2022 (AIP)-The Regional Directorate of National Education and Literacy (DRENA) of Bouna, has just acquired metal detectors for monitoring candidates for mock exams in the 18 composition centers of the Bounkani region.

According to the regional director of National Education, Klablé Bi Douabou Paulin, the acquisition of this equipment aims not only to optimize the control of candidates for an effective fight against cheating but above all to get them used to it.

”We have made sure that the children get used to metal detectors, because it is often at the end of the school year that they discover it, and it can be an element of panic. We have given ourselves the means to acquire them in order to prepare our students for this monitoring tool so as to avoid cheating, particularly via laptops” underlined Mr. Klablé Bi.

The regional mock exams started on Monday 04 April and end on Wednesday 06 April.
