Béoumi, Apr 04, 2022 (AIP)- The Network of teacher-researchers of the Gbêkê region rewarded on Saturday April 02, 2022 the winners of the “Génie-Pluriel” inter-school competition organized by it on March 12, 2022.
The students of the Béoumi modern high school, in particular, Tokou Yétran Marc André (Tle D), Miss Kouamé Siallou Cyrille Rosae (Tle A 2) and Kibané Kouassi Moïse (3rd), who won the first prizes, received their awards. The first two cities each received a computer and the third , a bicycle. They also received envelopes of an amount ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 CFA francs. All other participants received consolation prizes, including textbooks.
During this award ceremony, which took place in the town hall of Béoumi, the second deputy mayor of Béoumi, Yobouet Bertin, congratulated the initiators of this inter-school competition which was an opportunity healthy competition between learners.
For her part, the Regional Director of National Education and Literacy for Bouaké 2 (DRENA-Bouaké 2), Coffie Angèle, was delighted that such an initiative was undertaken in Béoumi while hoping that it would extends to its entire sphere of competence. She said she was convinced that the “Génie-Pluriel” competition will help boost the results of the BEPC and the baccalaureate which are not very famous in Gbêkê.
Established by the Network of native teacher-researchers of the Gbêkê region, the “Génie-Pluriel” competition, the official launch of which took place on December 08, 2021, aims to encourage learners to work in order to obtain better academic results. .
This 1st edition recorded the participation of all the secondary establishments of the city of Béoumi. In particular, the modern high school, the Private College “la Plénitude”, the College “Mon Avenir”, the Alani College, the private college Yobouet Olivier and the Catholic Girls College.
This inter-school competition consisted for the best students of Terminale in the scientific series of these different schools, in particular, Terminale D, to compete in specific subjects such as mathematics, physics-chemistry and life sciences. and earth.
Those of the literary series, in particular, the Terminal A2, competed in the tests of philosophy, French and English. As for the third graders, they competed in the French composition, physics-chemistry and mathematics tests.
