Côte d’Ivoire-AIP/ Bédié grants its Dimbokro residence to the PDCI-RDA to make it its headquarters
Dimbokro, 04 Apr 2022 (AIP) – The President of the Democratic Party of Côte d’Ivoire – African Democratic Rally (PDCI-RDA), Henri Konan Bédié, has granted his residence to Dimbokro activists with a view to making it the headquarters of the party, announced Saturday, April 2, 2022, Vice-President Bobi Assa Emilienne at the opening of the PDCI office sponsored by Vice-President Allah Kouadio Rémi.
The Party also has a site with a final concession certificate (ACD) opposite the martyrs’ cemetery. An architectural study was carried out by the vice-president, Kouakou Kouadio, recalled Ms. Bobi.
She stressed the need to organize immediately to rehabilitate the house offered by President Henri Konan Bédié and then to build a dignified headquarters on the site. Remarks favorably received by several activists who immediately donated 25 tons of cement.
The Vice-President praised the bravery of the activists and supporters of the oldest party in the country who, despite the difficulties, remained attached to the PDCI and Henri Konan Bédié. She urged them to become voters by having their identity papers issued and to register, when the time comes, on the electoral list. “We must regain our lost town hall and regional council seats because we are still in the N’zi and particularly in Dimbokro, strongholds of the PDCI”, she pointed out.
The inauguration of the PDCI-RDA office received support from local leaders of the African Peoples’ Party of Côte d’Ivoire (PPA-CI).
