Soubré, March 22, 2022 (AIP)-The President of the Nawa Regional Council, Alain Richard Donwahi immersed himself in the realities of women working in men’s jobs in Soubré, Sunday March 20, 2022 as part of the International Day of wife.

To mark this month of the woman, I decided to make a field visit to women who exercise in the sectors of activity usually reserved exclusively for men”, expressed Mr. Donwahi, affirming that he is to encourage and support them through advice and financial support.

Women have an increasingly important role in the socio-economic development of the Nawa, and this requires integration into all sectors of activity without gender distinction, he argued.

Alain Richard Donwahi visited a female Gbaka apprentice, a mechanic, another writer, a sports coach and another painter. And at each of the stages, the Minister was able to immerse himself in their activities, their projects and other difficulties by providing them with advice and directives for the proper conduct of their actions.

The women met welcomed this surprise visit from the president of the regional council and showed their determination to succeed without complex where the men have performances. They also urged other women to follow their example to ensure their financial autonomy while ignoring prejudices.
