Songon, About twenty barracks located in Yopougon Kuwait were ravaged by a fire on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, causing enormous material damage but no loss of life, the AIP learned from secure source.

The tenants of these huts, still in shock, are trying to understand this tragedy, the causes of which remain, for the time being, unknown.

According to witnesses, the flames started around 6 a.m. in one of the barracks before spreading to the other barracks.

“All our effects, money and objects as well as our files were burned,” said Jean Yves Yao, tenant of a barrack completely decimated by the fire which would be caused by a candle.

The police have opened an investigation to find out more about the causes of this fire in Yopougon Kuwait.
