Tiassalé, A discussion workshop on strengthening social cohesion is being held in N’douci, from Thursday November 17 to Saturday November 19, 2022, at the initiative of the institution The Mediator of the Republic .

“This workshop is part of the dynamics of actions carried out to strengthen peace and social cohesion in localities affected by violence or inter-community conflicts in order to strengthen social ties”, explained the head of the delegation. of the institution, Koné Tanguy Dimitry Ulrich.

The work in plenary focuses on “Promotion of the culture of peace and social cohesion: what approach for the union of the populations of N’douci” and “Fight against hate speech, misinformation and rumours”.

Workshop work focuses on “Identification of obstacles to social cohesion in N’douci”, “Initiatives and actions to be implemented to strengthen social cohesion”, The action plan for the development of social cohesion in N’douci”.

At the end of three days of work, a charter of good conduct will be drawn up and must “serve as a compass to guide everyone on the beautiful paths of social cohesion”.

The sub-prefect of N’douci, Sandrine Danho Oka, also president of the reconciliation committee, welcomed the organization of the workshop which reinforces previous initiatives. She wished for good thoughts and the taking of good thoughts.

This workshop initiated by the Mediator of the French Republic, comes after a first listening and consultation mission which took place from August 22 to 24, 2022 to understand the causes of the deadly violence of July and August 2022, initiated by the same institution.
