Dabakala, Jan 23, 2022.(AIP)- Shops belonging to traders were ravaged by fire in Dabakala, Sunday, January 23, 2022.

According to witnesses met at the scene of the disaster, the fire started around 9 a.m. It all started with a short circuit in an appliance store.

A house located just behind the stores was also affected by the flames from the stores.

Alerted by cries of distress, the population came out en masse to extinguish the fire with the help of the police who established a security cordon around the stores.
There is no loss of human life, but the material damage amounts to tens of millions of CFA francs, we learn.
