Sikensi, A student in the 6th 1 class of Hamine Koné middle school in Sikensi was violently stabbed on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, by two students in CE1 class at the EPP municipality of the city.

According to information collected on the spot, the two schoolchildren attacked the schoolboy at his home, after having tried in vain to extort money from him. The victim having told them without convincing them, that he did not have one.

The seriously injured teenager was transferred the same day to the University Hospital Center (CHU) of Treichville in Abidjan, where he is awaiting surgery. His health would be stable, we learned from a source close to his establishment.

The two attackers, who are taking over the CE2 class, have not come to take lessons since their registration at the start of the school year, reported the director of the EPP municipality, Yao Hervé.

The Sikensi police have opened an investigation to shed light on this case.
