Barsalogho attack: The government promises a major response to the enemy

The Minister of Security, Mahamadou Sana, promised on Sunday a major response to the terrorists who mourned the commune of Barsalogho the day before.

‘In this response, we are going to provide a response so that the enemy knows, more than ever, that we are not going to accept such barbarities on our territory,’ said the Minister of Security, Mahamadou Sana.

Minister Sana made this declaration at the end of a government visit, Sunday to Kaya (Central-North), to those injured in the terrorist attack perpetrated Saturday in Barsalgho.

The delegation, made up of the ministers in charge of Security, Mahamadou Sana, of Health, Robert Lucien Jean-Claude Kargougou, as well as the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Célestin Simporé, was led by the Minister of State and government spokesperson, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo.

These personalities came to demonstrate the solidarity of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré and that of the Nation to the populations of Barsalogho.

The Burki
nabè Minister of Security indicated that, despite the support of aerial vectors, losses of human lives and injuries were recorded among civilians, the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the homeland (VDP).

Mahamadou Sana hoped that those injured in this ‘barbaric’ attack would regain their health as soon as possible.

‘We would like to reassure the Burkinabè people that we are committed and that we remain firm on the protection of the Burkinabè and their property,’ underlined the Minister of Security, Mahamadou Sana.
