AIP / Plus de 1000 pompes hydrauliques villageoises réalisées et réhabilitées par l’ONG Humanity First Côte d’Ivoire

More than a thousand village water pumps have been built and rehabilitated by the NGO Humanity First Côte d’Ivoire (HFCI), in several localities of the country, said the president of this organization, Yaya Ouattara , Saturday, May 13, 2023, in Abidjan, during a telethon to present the results of the activities of this organization from 2007 to 2023.

These activities also concern a donation of 38 rice hulling and crushing machines, 5,000 thousand school kits (school supplies) distributed over five years, the construction of three primary schools, donations of 40 tricycles distributed, aid for crop production food production, 40 free medical camps for the populations.

According to the president of the NGO, this telethon aims “to present the various actions to donors and solicit more resources to pursue their mission”.

The various activity programs carried out are Water for live (Water for life), Orphan care (Orphan care), Food security (Food security) and Community care (Medical camp).

The objective of the NGO HFCI is to fight against poverty and to support vulnerable rural and agricultural populations, in order to bring them out of precariousness and also support populations who have suffered disasters.

As a project, the NGO intends to build a world reference hospital, the work of which has begun. Other micro-projects are envisaged, in particular programs for the conservation of agricultural production.

An HFCI volunteer, Sylla Mamadou, volunteer in charge of the Foot Security section, appealed to managers to help women in the field of food crop cultivation, by organizing them and giving them land to carry out their agricultural projects so that they are autonomous.

The representative of the orphanage, SOS d’Abobo, thanked the NGO for the school kits and the donations offered to the orphan children of her organization.

Several other beneficiaries from different localities have praised the actions of this organization in their locality.

Some beneficiary localities include San Pédro, in Zouan eh, Guitry, Katiola, M’Bengué Kong, Gagnoa, in the region of Indénie Dhjuablin and Folon.

These actions of the NGO aim to support the actions of the Ivorian governments in the context of development and social inclusion.
