The Muslim community of sinfra was urged on Saturday, March 25, 2023, to use the holy month of Ramadan to address prayers to the Almighty for Côte d’Ivoire and for its President Alassane Ouattara , during a donation ceremony at the Grand Mosque. “We have come to greet you and recommend to your prayers Côte d’Ivoire and the President of the Republic so that the momentum of development in which you are can continue”, said the Minister of Equipment and Road maintenance, Dr Amédée Kouakou. He also asked Muslims to unfailingly support Minister Zoro Epiphane whom he presented to them as “a worthy son of Alassane Ouattara” in whom they must place all their trust. Coming at the head of a large delegation of executives and elected officials from the city centre, Amédée Kouakou donated two tons of rice, a ton of sugar, twenty cartons of milk and the sum of one million CFA francs to relieve the Muslims during the month of fasting. On behalf of all Muslim faithful, Imam Traoré Souleymane expressed his gratitude and offered blessings to donors The Ramadan fast started on Wednesday March 23, 2023 and will last 30 days.
