81 French MPs have signed a request to demand the departure of Emmanuel Macron from the French presidency for ‘serious failure in the duty to respect the will expressed by universal suffrage’
Six environmentalists and three deputies from the island of Réunion close to LFI joined the 72 elected members of La France Insoumise in the National Assembly to officially request the dismissal of the President of the Republic, due to his refusal to appoint Lucie Castets to Matignon, report the French media.
This proposed resolution, submitted to the bureau of the Assembly under Article 68 of the Constitution, was signed by 81 deputies in total, out of 577.
