An open day will be held on Thursday as part of the celebration of the sixtieth anniversary of the Ivorian Press Agency (AIP) which starts on Wednesday June 02, 2021.

Visitors, including students from the Institut des sciences et techniques de la communication (ISTC) polytechnique, will familiarize themselves with the production units of the AIP, said the president of the organizing committee, Kouamé Mireille, during of an interview, Tuesday June 01, 2021.

It will be a question of explaining to them the functioning of the AIP, namely the production process of the dispatch, its flagship product, the various editors, the technical service, the platforms for exchanges on issues of national and international interest. , SMS alerts as well as the first working materials of the AIP.

This open day will close the festivities of the 60th anniversary of the AIP in Abidjan. Exploded celebrations are planned inside the country, it is announced.

The Ivorian Press Agency, the first public service media, was created on June 2, 1961.
