Iory Coast / AIP 60 years old: Agents want an internationally competitive multimedia agency
The agents of the Ivorian Press Agency (AIP) want their structure to be a reference at the national and international level, while developing the multimedia aspect, after its 60 years of existence.
Traoré Mamadou (Central Editor-in-Chief) : we hope that the AIP starts from now on a new stage in his life because after 60 years, we are led to understand that we have reached more maturity, more credibility. The hope is that the AIP will continue to strengthen its qualities and skills in order to be able to better inform the populations and expand its information arsenal and we hope that we will have new tools that will allow Ivorians to be better informed from from the AIP thread.
Soro Benjamin (Journalist, economy desk) : I would like to congratulate the management for the organization of these festivities which aim to give another dimension to the agency. I hope that the AIP can continue in this dynamic of innovation. I hope that we can also diversify our content to position ourselves more and make the wire a reference in Côte d’Ivoire, Africa and the whole world.
Michel Oguéhi (Head of the freelance correspondents) : 60 years in the life of a company, that’s a lot because a long way has been traveled. So we really have to celebrate them with pomp. We still have a lot to do and we hope that this sixtieth anniversary can be the start of the upward curve for AIP because the challenges are still numerous. There is the organic framework that needs to be reviewed, the multimedia component that needs to be truly developed. We believe that the 60 years will serve as a framework to take stock and draw up the prospects for an even more efficient IPA, more visible in the media ecosystem in Côte d’Ivoire.
Blé Marie-Jeanne (Personnel Officer) : I hope that the AIP will prosper more because with 60 years, there is a maturity and that means that she has acquired a lot of experience. We want it to spread to the international file, to be cited like the big press agencies, to open international offices. For human resources, that its agents work even more in good conditions, that they be even more efficient, dynamic, dedicated so that the AIP is recognized as an essential medium.
Sonia Tra Lou (Head of Social Networks) : I wish AIP a happy birthday. As a wholesaler of information, we want to go even further in what she currently does. We want to be a true multimedia agency, to have international recognition and we wish the AIP every success in the quality of its information, the proactivity and the real-time dissemination of information. We want us to be more extended in the nooks and crannies of Côte d’Ivoire to respect our slogan of leader of local information.
Boizo Wilfried (Machinist) : I wish the AIP to become a general direction for the happiness of all the agents and I wish iron health to all the agents to continue the work and for the influence of the AIP.
Koné Massita ( Deputy Director of Finance and Accounting) : The results are almost satisfactory, but since all human work is never perfect, we will improve it. I wish a full development of the agents, a stronger, more competitive, more dynamic agency on the national and international level in the era of multimedia. I hope she will be a reference for dealing with poison and fake news and there is great hope.
Yao Ahoutou (Deputy Director of Legal Affairs and Human Resources) : 60 years old is a very good thing because not all state-owned companies or large companies survive to 60 years. If the AIP is now 60 years old, we should rejoice, congratulate ourselves and thank its forerunners who have laid solid foundations on which the new leaders have sat down to try to consolidate them. We must see in these 60 years, the strength of the agency. I hope that beyond the age of 60, the AIP will still do great things, remain the first level agency which covers the whole country and which always provides credible information to the population. We are going to celebrate these 60 years with fervor, in a good atmosphere, thinking of becoming even bigger.
Soro Namongo (Technical Assistant): I want a strong AIP like the international press agencies, that we are quoted everywhere and that our information is what everyone is looking for. I want all the press to be unanimous when we say that the AIP gives the right information. This is my most ardent wish.
Tanguy Gahié (AIP Songon Correspondent) : For his 60th birthday, I wish a wonderful birthday to the leader of local information, a long successful career and a life full of joy and happiness to all of his staff
Arthur N’Guessan (Communication Officer) : I hope that all the files on the ministry’s table will find satisfaction so that the AIP is truly at the level of the large agencies with which we are in partnership.
Bassolé Benjamin (Journalist culture-sport desk) : I wish prosperity, success, success and even more maturity for the leading Ivorian state media. I would like to take the opportunity to pay tribute to the precursors of AIP. I would also like to encourage the agents to take more initiatives so that together, we can glean trophies to make the AIP shine more.
