Vaccination against the coronavirus disease COVID-19 resumed at Bocanda hospital on Wednesday , June 09, 2021, after about three weeks of interruption due to a vaccine shortage.
According to the Departmental Director of Health, Brou Kouakou, this recovery was possible thanks to the receipt of 500 new doses of vaccine. These doses will give those who have not yet received the first dose the chance to benefit from protection against the disease.
“Everything is going well, only that there is not yet a large crowd because the information has not yet passed through”, said nurse Baï Irich, in charge of vaccination.
