Côte d’Ivoire-AIP / The SAPH offers agricultural equipment and seeds to the women of Bongo

The African Society of Hévéas Planters (SAPH) offered agricultural equipment, seeds, as well as phytosanitary products to the women of the Association des femmes de Bongo, a locality located 15 km from Alépé.

As part of World Environment Day, the Director General of SAPH Marc Genot donated agricultural equipment consisting of wheelbarrows, dabas, machetes, rakes, watering cans and seeds of food products such as okra, tomato, chilli and phytosanitary products to the association of women of Bongo.

“This donation will allow women to better plant nurseries and then to plant forest trees, then fruit trees for food crops for not only better forest cover but also to restore biodiversity”, the director general of SAPH told women on Saturday June 5, 2021. .

The president of the Bongo Women’s Association, Koné Dofini expressed her gratitude to the Director General of SAPH for this donation. She reassured him that this donation will be used wisely to carry out the reforestation and agroforestry project.
