The prefecture of Minignan proceeded, Tuesday, June 1, 2021, the official launch of the port control operation helmets and speed limit in the department and throughout the region Folon.

The representative of the prefect, Irié Bi Zika Guillaume, gave firm instructions to the police in charge of controlling and regulating traffic in order to sanction any violator of the rules put in place by the government.

He also invited the populations to more responsibilities because, according to him, “the populations prefer to buy shock absorbers for cell phones than to wear helmets as shock absorbers”. For him, the measures taken by the State of Côte d’Ivoire are in favor of the protection of citizens.

Helmets were symbolically handed over to traditional leaders and the youth representative.
