The new president of the Rotary Club Abidjan-Akwaba, Cheick Bamba Assékou, was sworn Thursday 1 st July 2021, during a ceremony collar and fillers, which took held in Abidjan plateau, in the presence of several senior officials of the association.
Communication and media professional, Bamba Assékou Cheick succeeds Michelle Beugré, associate director in a business management firm. He will chair Rotary Abidjan-Akwaba for one year in accordance with the rules governing the group.
While congratulating the outgoing president for the work done during her mandate, the new president Bamba Assékou Cheick indicated that he wanted to continue in the same direction, supporting his involvement in the fight against breast cancer.
“For the 2021-2022 mandate, we will again this year focus on the fight against breast cancer,” he announced.
In addition to the fight against breast cancer, the new president of Abidjan-Akwaba also intends to work for the empowerment of women by finalizing projects initiated during the previous term.
