Côte d’Ivoire-AIP / The civil-military cell of Katiola raises awareness about Covid-19

The civil-military cell of Katiola initiated a session to raise awareness of the populations on Covid 19, Monday, May 31, 2021, at the house of the chiefs during the presentation ceremony of its members of the locality.

President Ouattara Waogninlin and his office sensitized the populations on the barrier gestures to be respected to avoid being contaminated by the disease.

The committee offered sanitary kits comprising washing buckets, gel, liquid soap, mufflers and paper handkerchiefs to the traditional chiefdom, to the Regional Directorate of National Education and Literacy (DRENA), the police, the remand center and the water and forest officers. The chairman of the committee assured Fronan and Timbé to continue this action.

The civil-military committee created by prefectural decree of November 5, 2021. It includes 25 members from civil society and the security forces. Its main mission is to get the population to collaborate with the defense and security forces and to raise awareness of security issues.
