The San Pedro health district has won the “super laureate for the best public health establishment for the management of health products” for the financial year 2020.
The district of San Pedro is thus rewarded for its good quality of service in the management of health products, both for recoverable products and for health programs.
The officials of this health administration received their award on Wednesday June 16, 2021 at the Badisson Blu Hotel in Abidjan, from the Director General of Health and Public Hygiene, Pr Mamadou Samba, representing the Minister of Health, of Public Hygiene and Universal Health Coverage , Pierre Dimba.
It was during the 5th edition of the ceremony of distinction of the best public health establishments for the management of health products organized by the New Pharmacy of Public Health of Côte d’Ivoire (New PSP-CI), the central of purchase of essential medicines from the country.
The super laureate receives for this prize, a check for three million CFA francs for the redevelopment of his pharmacy, a drug check for 500,000 CFA francs, and a participation diploma.
He also received, along with eight other winners in the “Best Managers” category, a charge at an international pharmaceutical fair in Dubai, a laptop computer, a diploma and a trophy.
The Director General of Health congratulated this initiative which, according to him, improves the sense of accountability and responsibility of health structures in the management of health products.
”The New PSP-CI needs the management of its health products to be optimized and rational through the quality of managers’ reports, the regularity of orders and the payment of invoices for orders delivered to health structures. I would therefore like to salute the vision of the management of the New PSP CI, which gives this great opportunity to celebrate excellence, ”he said.
The health districts of Touleupleu (West), Guitry (South-West) and Bloléquin (West), as well as the Regional Directorate of Health and Public Hygiene of Hambol (Center-North), the CHR of Bondoukou (North-east), the general hospital of Agnibilékrou (East), and the CHU d’Angré (Abidjan), are also among the winners of this award.
The PCA of the New PSP-CI, Armand Kouamé, and the director general of this structure, Pr Yapi Ange Désiré, urged the winners to “remain efficient” in the good management of health products, in particular in terms of completeness and promptness. and quality of reporting for health program outputs.
But also to improve the commitment of proforma invoices for products, the rate of which must be greater than 80%, with an increase in sales rate greater than or equal to 10%, and a recovery rate greater than or equal to 90%.
The mission of the New Public Health Pharmacy of Côte d’Ivoire is to ensure the geographical availability and financial accessibility of essential drugs and strategic quality health inputs in public establishments for the benefit of the populations.
