The candidate of the Rassemblement des houphouëtistes pour la democratie et la paix (RHDP) in the by-legislative election in Mankono commune and sub-prefecture, Méïté Epse Fofana Salimata, a, during the ceremony of his presentation to the populations, Saturday, May 29, 2020 on the sports field located behind the town hall of Mankono, placed his candidacy under the sign of peace and social cohesion.

Ms. Méité confided to her listeners her desire to bring together all the daughters, sons, executives and local elected officials around the values ​​of gathering, solidarity and union, values ​​dear to the President of the Republic Alassane Ouattara, also president of the party. RHDP.

“The five fingers of the hand form a point whose strength is increased tenfold. Each finger does not represent anything next to the point, it is together in cohesion that we will succeed in building our magnificent city, ”she said.

The RHDP candidate was presented to the populations of Mankono during a ceremony chaired by the RHDP regional coordinator of Béré, Moussa Dosso, in the presence of religious dignitaries, customary leaders, women’s organizations, youth and many executives and local elected officials of the party.

Méïté épse Fofana Salimata is the current director of human resources of the Autonomous Port of Abidjan (PAA) since 2011. Present on the ground in Mankono for more than 10 years through social actions in favor of the school, empowerment women, and the community. She intends, she said, “to be ready to listen to the populations of Mankono and sub-prefecture to carry out its future mission”.

Partial legislative elections are planned in localities on June 12 in Côte d’Ivoire. In Mankono, it will be a question of filling the seat left vacant by the Honorable Hassane Fofana, who died a few weeks after winning the March 6 ballot.
