Côte d’Ivoire-AIP / LONACI hands over the keys to the totally rehabilitated Cocody Sud school group
After the total rehabilitation of the premises of the Cocody Sud school group by the LONACI Foundation, the National Lottery of Côte d’Ivoire (LONACI) handed over, on Thursday June 10, 2021, the keys to the establishment at the Cocody-Blockhaus Preschool and Primary Education Inspectorate.
During the ceremony organized on the premises of the establishment, the Deputy Director General (DGA) of LONACI, Abdoulkarim Ouattara, officially handed over the infrastructure to Inspector Sidibé Yacouba, in the presence in particular of the Executive Director of the Foundation, Mrs. Fatoumata Diabaté, as well as representatives of the town hall of Cocody and the authorities of the beneficiary educational district.
“LONACI, through its Foundation, is happy to have been able to make its modest contribution to the smooth running of the school year here at the Cocody Sud School Group. Because, as we all know, a pleasant environment is a strong stimulus for studies, therefore an important factor of success ”, declared the emissary of Dramane Coulibaly, the CEO of the State company.
“This is why the director general of LONACI (…) did not remain indifferent to the appeal of the parents of pupils for the rehabilitation of this school group. By responding positively, he wanted to provide a pleasant and conducive to the education of our children. This, in line with LONACI’s social mission, which is to work for the well-being of populations, in the sectors of health, education, culture, etc. ”, Continued Abdoulkarim Ouattara.
According to the DGA, the work cost 99.89 million CFA Francs. He hoped that after its rehabilitation, the Cocody Sud School Group would improve its results for the happiness of parents and their children, while inviting teachers and the School Management Committee (COGES) to take care of it.
