Côte d’Ivoire-AIP / Former students of the HKB high school in Sinfra donate to the populations
Former students of the modern high school Henri Konan Bédié in Sinfra, made donations to the general hospital, the orphanage and the high school, during activities they carried out in the town from Wednesday 24 to Sunday 27 June 2021.
According to the president of the network of former students of the HKB high school in Sinfra, Gbaka Yves Edmond, their network was created to fraternize, commune but also to help the city, the populations, the establishment which contributed to the moral and intellectual development as well than the social integration of its members.
“It is for us a duty of gratitude and gratitude by helping the students of the school where we were taught, the hospital that treated us,” he said.
During the day of Thursday, June 24, members of the network donated sheets, care materials and kits to women who had just given birth. They then visited the orphanage of the Christ-Roi missionary center where they distributed food and cleaning products.
At the HKB high school they donated paint cans, rowing boxes and above all laid the foundation stone for the reconstruction of the school canteen which had been devastated during the previous school year by a fire.
The network of alumni of the HKB high school in Sinfra was created in March 2020 and boasts more than 100 members including administrative executives, business leaders and civil servants.
