The Ministry for the Promotion of Good Governance, Capacity Building and the Fight against Corruption and the High Authority for Good Governance (HABG) have expressed their willingness to collaborate through a common denunciation platform, during a working meeting.

“We are in a spirit of collaboration, we are not in competition. It is important that we put in place a common outreach and communication team, which will be made up of members of both entities, to achieve good results and be more efficient. We need to set up a whistleblower platform. In the end, we should be judged together ”, explained Wednesday, June 09, 2021, the chief of staff of the Ministry for the Promotion of Good Governance, Capacity Building and the Fight against Corruption, Amadou Koné.

It intends to find the best strategies to promote good governance and reassure donors.

For the chief of staff of the president of the HABG, Bakari Traoré, the objective is to work together to achieve the mission that the Head of State has assigned them.

The HABG has, among others, the missions of developing and implementing the anti-corruption strategy, coordinating, presenting and monitoring the implementation of prevention and anti-corruption policies, identify the structural causes of corruption, contribute to the moralization of public life and consolidate the principles of good governance, as well as the culture of public service.
