The objective of this training is to improve the development of the fisheries value chain by promoting South-South mobility in the Mali, Senegal and Ivory Coast sub-region.
The modules developed in collaboration with the Moroccan Water and Forests administration focus on the choice of species, the duration of cultivation and multiplication actions, maintenance and distribution channels.
For the president of the Regional Council of Grands Bridges, Prof. Sess Essiagne Daniel, this training will allow beneficiaries to develop fishing in the region and train all the young people who work in this sector, in order to professionalize it and benefit from funding to put execution of projects initiated by the Regional Council.
He says he expects a lot from the participation of these young fish farmers in this training and thanks the chiefdom of the coastal or lagoon villages of the region for the frank collaboration in the pre-selection of young fish farmers.
