The central sub-prefect of Dimbokro, Zagou Serge Rodrigue, representing the prefect of the region, called on the local youth for calm and more responsibility, during the burial, at the municipal cemetery, one of theirs killed during a brawl.
The representative of the prefect particularly deplored the many faults of the young people of Dimbokro, namely drugs, alcohol, violence, incivism, laziness and the taste for easy gain. “Young people are a significant proportion of the population, they must embody hope and not constitute a danger for society,” he said, advising them to adopt civic behavior in all circumstances, if they want to. be responsible adults.
The efforts of the President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara, are centered on the education, training and employment of young people, added the central sub-prefect of Dimbokro, asking local young people to join the dynamic of the structural transformation of the economy which , through the construction of vocational training centers, offers them a second chance, especially to those who left the school system too early and wish to learn a trade or move towards self-employment.
“The death of your comrade must be an opportunity for you to become aware” he said, urging them not to take justice because the alleged killer arrested is in the bonds of justice and will suffer rigor of the law, according to the administrative authority.
A 23-year-old young man, DD, was killed on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in Dimbokro, around 4 pm, during a brawl. The alleged perpetrator, a teenage boy of around 16, stabbed him in the side and neck. The victim succumbed to his injuries during his evacuation to the Bouaké university hospital, creating great tension in the city.
